FAQ
We have compiled a list of common questions that come up during tuber sales and our responses to help you navigate and reduce stress.
Can you post outside of Australia?
No, we can only post within Australia.
Can you post to Quarrantine States?
No, unfortunately we are uable to post to quarrantine states of NT, Tasmania and WA.
Is this a presale?
No, this is not a presale. We do not conduct sales until we have checked our tubers for condition and viability and only send out tubers that have been deemed viable and ready for planting.
When will your tuber sale be held?
Our initial sale will be held sometime in September to October and is dependent on when tubers start to come out of dormancy. We may also have subsequent sales as some tubers take longer to develop eyes. The best way to ensure you dont miss a sale is to subscribe to our emails at the bottom of our homepage.
Do you allow local pickup?
We will allow local pickup for our tubers, however all tubers must be collected in the time frame outlined during our sale. We cannot continue to hold tubers outside of this collection window and you will need to arrange for someone else to collect for you if you are unable to collect yourself.
Can I combine shipping for multiple orders?
No, we do not offer combined shipping due to the workload involved in doing so. If you place multiple orders you will incur a shipping charge for each order you have placed, however you are welcome to place as many orders as you wish.
Does tuber size matter?
Tuber size is not the determining factor in whether or not a tuber will grow. In fact tubers grow in a large variety of sizes and shapes. As long as a tuber has a neck, body and eye it has everything it needs to grow.
Do you offer refunds?
Please inspect your tubers on arrival and contact us within 48 hours with any concerns. Photos of your concerns are very helpful. We will try our hardest to come to a mutually reached agreement, and are happy to refund for genuine concerns.
We do not offer refunds for tubers outside this period as we cannot be responsible for how tubers are stored after being received or for individual growing conditions.
We do not offer refunds for virus. We make every attempt to eliminate virused plants from our collection but due to the complexities around virus transmission and its expression in plants we are unable to refund plants that exhibit virus.
If you believe you have received a mislabel you are welcome to email us and we will endeavour to assist you. We are making every possible effort to eliminate mislabels from happening but we are human and despite best efforts mistakes can occur.
